If you seek peace through weakness you will have peace; you will also most likely be a slave! It may seem to be a contradiction that you will live a more peaceful life if you are willing to work and fight for what you have than if when threatened with violence you give whatever is demanded by the person or group issuing the threat but it is true.

Another way to express this is that bullies only pick on those they perceive as weak.

Liberty or slavery

Lesson 15 from The Hard Knocks School of Life

It is easier to be a slave than it is to be free.
I’m sure there are people who will look at this statement and say that it is absolutely false. If you are one of those people I challenge you with this question: Do you love the work you are doing? If you don’t love the work you are doing why are you still doing it?

And finally how long have you been doing work that you don’t love?

The answers to these questions will tell you whether you are free or a slave.
